Creepy Tray

Wednesday, November 30th, 2005

I bought this piece at a local thrift store 3 months ago. Since then, the thrift store has been closed and turned into a tanning salon. I don’t consider myself a person who believes in the supernatural. I hold a college degree and am starting my Master’s program in January. However, since owning this piece, things have changed for me.

Namely he has a lot less stuff and a really nice tan.

Pine Needle

If this pine needle makes it to the front page of The Pulse, I will post the incredible video footage of how this amazing piece of history came in to my posession!

It’s not so much the item but the presentation that makes it so amusing.

Life-Size Clydesdale Fiberglass Horses

Monday, November 28th, 2005

A very rare and unsual set of four early 1970’s life-size Clydesdale fiberglass horses. These horses were used as display attached to a wheel-carriage filled with wooden beer barrels at The Lowen Brau Keller during the Oktoberfest festivals. They are in excellent condition! All the gear is German with lots of detail. No matter where they are displayed, they are really eye-catching and will make a great public attraction.

Plus it’ll make all the other guys really jealous when it’s sitting in your den

Replica 1621 Turkey Drumstick Bone

Saturday, November 26th, 2005

The first American Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621, to commemorate the harvest reaped by the Plymouth Colony after a harsh winter. In that year Governor William Bradford proclaimed a day of thanksgiving. The colonists celebrated it as a traditional English harvest feast, to which they invited the local Wampanoag Indians.
