Eternal Cursed Diamond Engagement Ring

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

Prior to presenting “The Precious” (in evil Gollum voice) to my then normal girlfriend, she was the girl of my dreams! After a formal proposal and putting the ring on her finger, she immediately changed. My first clue was the horns that had sprouted from her head digging into my back that night while we slept. I gave it no thought. The next night she insisted that we fall asleep to “Stairway to Heaven” backmasking on the record player all night. Once again a strange request but at the time seemed reasonable. As the days went by things inherently progressed for the worse. From the annoying chanting to the red and black candle wax all over the house, things just didn’t seem to add up.

Egyptian Mummy Coffin

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

Complete mummy coffin from Egypt’s Late Period. The piece is in great condition with vivid original paint. Nice Isis on the front, with Anubis God of embalming under. Offering text from the book of the dead down the front. The whole coffin is rare in that it is completely covered with linen, gesso, then painted. Thus keeping the pigment sealed in the linen, and very bright.

Rams Horn & Silver Chalice

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

Here is a very unusual piece. It’s a very old rams horn with silver (silver plated I think) pieces attached to make a chalice or goblet. It measures about 11 1/2″ long and about 7″ tall. The horn itself is a very long horn with almost 2 curls and shows years of handling wear, great patina. The silver cup part and the foot are a little loose. The lid of the cup is a little bent and it has had something broken off of the very top (finial). Also the bowl of the cup is blistering. I’m guessing this is over 100 years old but I’m not an expert on these type of things. Overall this is a very cool looking piece and in good condition for it’s age.

Yellow Feet Lamp

Saturday, August 26th, 2006

Here is a very unique and unusual lamp. It’s base are a pair of metal feet which have toenails to match the very colorful bejeweled shade. This lamp is used, but is in very good condition.

Yeah, I’d like to buy it too but you know our wives would kill us.

Yellow Lobster

Saturday, August 26th, 2006

yellow lobster‘Rocky’, a yellow lobster found off of the Maine coast, is so rare he was featured on news stations throughout New England, written about in countless newspapers and was a big attraction at the Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland where lobster lovers waited and waited in line just for the opportunity to see this amazing crustacean!

Yellow Lobsters are 1 in 30 million!

If a normal lobster sells for $6-10 it’s only reasonable to assume that a lobster which is 30 million times more rare should fetch $180-300 million!

Pluto has Left the Solar System

Saturday, August 26th, 2006

Demoting the icy orb named for the Roman god of the underworld isn’t personal - it’s just business - said Jack Horkheimer, director of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium and host of the PBS show “Star Gazer.”
“It’s like an amicable divorce,” he said. “The legal status has changed but the person really hasn’t. It’s just single again.”

What is up for auction in this listing is the photos of pluto leaving the solar system. That’s right! We managed to snap a few pictures of the event that took place today August 24th, 2006 through our telescope.
